But when I finally arrive, the sight is almost always worth it. I appreciate it doubly as much, because I have been anticipating it longer than most, and because I know the pitfalls from seeing so many others around me crash and burn from it.

These things may have trouble finding me on time and they may come late, but I don’t mind the wait because I’ll be more present than ever to experience them.
